You can start anytime by completing sign up, logging into your account, and taking the initial questionnaire.  Once you’ve completed the questionnaire about your symptoms, history, and activity level, you will receive your customized-per-patient exercise routines immediately, created specifically to help eliminate your specific symptoms.  We will follow-up daily for at least a week to inform you about the best way to use our virtual therapy program.  After you complete a routine at least 7 times, we will ask you to provide feedback in the form of a progress report so that we can modify and send new routines to get you to the ‘next level’, based on your feedback.  As you progress through your therapy program, you will receive anywhere from 5 – 7 total routines.

You will have full access to your account from the web or mobile apps, including personalized therapy sessions via our patented Evaluation and Virtual Therapy System (US Patent No. 8,715,176). This includes personalized follow-up Progress Reports, allowing you to receive new therapy routines built specifically for your body.  As part of the online experience, libraries of educational and instructional videos will give you additional empowering tools to live pain free while enjoying an active lifestyle.  You are entitled to an unlimited number of programs over time, but you can have only 2 active programs at a time. The information you will learn about your body, how to end pain with unique-to-you therapy routines, and an enlightened perspective on the weakness of other treatment approaches, are all truly invaluable.

The responsibility lies within each individual to take control of his or her own health. We believe you will find PTX to be a common sense, logical whole-body approach to treating chronic pain. We are blessed to offer such an amazing program, accessible and affordable to all. Our guarantee is that the human body is designed for movement and is designed to be in a strong and stable right-angle-joint position, with a proper hip tilt and S-curvature of the spine (See the “Blueprint”). PTX provides positive movement that encourages the body to return to this design position.  The routines progressively enable the body to move more freely and functionally,  improve posture and get your body closer to the proper “blueprint” position. The only thing you really have to lose with PTX, is your pain!

PTX Therapy accounts are for personal use only. Since the therapy programs are so personalized, we can’t offer shared accounts, nor would you want to share since the communication about the personalized therapy routines would become very confusing with multiple users in the same account. We encourage you to share your success with family and friends and invite them to sign up with their own email address to become pain free.

PTX is next generation physical therapy. It is the ONLY 100% digitally delivered therapy with a unique whole-body, posture-focused approach. With our clinically proven protocols to balance the body, PTX corrects crooked posture and the MSK pain it creates. This makes PTX the most comprehensive and effective solution for companies, individuals, and private healthcare practices to end the pain cycle, avoid surgery, and cancel ongoing MSK claims.  Our therapeutic exercise approach emphasizes restoring optimum postural function to the human body by focusing on the deep postural muscles. We give you the know-how to help change your posture and symptoms by re-educating the muscles to operate as they are designed. Straighter posture enables healing, and you can regain efficient function of body systems even beyond the muscular and skeletal systems.  Patients further notice improvements in digestive, circulatory, respiratory, and nervous system function.

Over time, and for various reasons, our bodies develop compensations. Perhaps daily movement has been neglected because we sit in front of a computer more than ever before. Perhaps you look down at your Smartphone for half of each day. Perhaps you’ve sustained an injury due to an accident. The body will make up for a weakness by asking more of some muscles and joints than they are designed to do. This becomes what most people term ‘overuse,’ but in reality it is improper use. The good news is that your body reacts to stimuli all day long, and you can reverse compensations by reintroducing proper movement, or new stimuli, into your daily routine to retrain your muscles to do only what they were designed to do. No more, no less. In no time at all, you will feel taller, straighter, stronger and more connected than ever with PTX Therapy.

PTX is customized-per-patient.  PTX Therapy delivers the most personalized and effective therapy in the world. We do not have a set protocol for specific symptoms, so there is no generic routine or magical exercise for a pain location. Instead, we have nearly 1,000 therapy exercises in our database, which can be put together in literally millions of different therapy routine combinations, based on your information and needs. We’re all unique individuals with different environments, past injuries, or reasons for pain. Your therapy won’t be identical to any other patient’s. PTX is very specific to you and is always addressing your whole body.

Many people get better rather quickly, especially compared to any other treatment plan (See our Case Studies and Testimonials). You could begin feeling a difference after one session, or it could take several weeks. It all depends on the individual; you probably didn’t get into your current condition overnight, and so sometimes it takes a little bit of time for you to get out of it. Most likely you will feel your posture improves and your symptoms lessen every time you complete a therapy session. This feeling may only hold for a few minutes at first.  As you remain consistent, the “window” of feeling better will increase to hours and days.  Your routines provide the positive stimulus you need to get better.  If your environment puts a lot of negative stress on your body, it may take longer to remove pain. Here are a few examples of negative stress:  one-sided activities performed daily, not moving much, and sitting all day. Remember, the more consistently you perform your prescribed routines and get moving more every day the sooner you will be pain free and feeling better. It’s all up to you!

Each routine builds on the previous routine. There is no magic number of routines, since the layers of compensation and dysfunction are different for everyone. If you have been in pain for years, it will probably require a number of sessions to get your body to be able to move without limitation. You may need to go through a series of routines that will progressively unravel years of compensation. With each routine your body will increasingly look and feel better. Because PTX addresses the whole body and crooked posture with a specific customized-per-patient sequence, you will get better faster than any other treatment option available. Honestly, PTX Therapy is the only one that even has the potential to get you truly well for the long-term.

Everyone responds differently, but generally speaking, a commitment of 30 minutes a day will yield the fastest results. Some routines may be less, and some longer. As your body changes, you will need to do less each day to maintain your health. It will take longer to feel better if you don’t commit much time, or if you don’t do the routine daily, but it will still help. Just like any exercise program, your results will be determined by the effort you put into the program. Remember, you can perform all of the stretches and exercises in the comfort of your own home, eliminating extra commuting time to a gym or clinic.

You can find everything you need right in your own home. Upon receiving your initial routine you will have access to our instructional and educational videos which includes the “No equipment, No problem video.  This video gives recommendations for which household items to use to complete your routines. We do offer cushions you may purchase, but they are not required. However, the PTX Therapy cushions and other equipment that you see in our exercise videos are convenient and make your routines easier. All of the PTX equipment can be purchased through our Amazon Shop, with different styles and colors to choose from.

The Patented evaluation and virtual therapy system (US Patent No. 8,715,176) used by PTX is a highly advanced expert system, using algorithms with dynamic complex decision patterns to produce thousands of possible routines. It is the result of decades of one-on-one clinician-patient experiences, followed by additional years of algorithm development and testing in thousands of real-life pain situations. Research and clinical observation of biomechanics, kinesiology, human kinetics, and functional anatomy have been used to create this system.  PTX Therapy is a hands-free treatment program even when practiced in a clinic.  This approach allows us to deliver the same programs over the Internet, hands-free, to reach millions. This is another very unique aspect of the therapy – another ‘X-factor’. Based on your answers to a comprehensive and interactive questionnaire (which takes only a few minutes to complete), the system quickly determines your physical condition and probable muscle imbalances. You will immediately receive a personalized postural therapy program to change your posture and relieve your pain, anytime, anywhere. PTX Therapy Eliminates Pain 24/7.

Our approach incorporates movements and poses from all types of exercise programs, including Pilates and yoga.  However, our focus is to relieve pain by assessing and improving posture, joint position, and muscular function.  A PTX program is more therapeutic and personalized than yoga and Pilates. Furthermore, there are techniques that we differ on, such as the “suck and tuck” (tightening of the stomach).  This particular technique can in fact create more problems.  When “suck and tuck” is performed, you’re essentially flattening the lower curve of the spine, a position that could weaken the spine and even lead to disk herniation.  With a focus on your starting posture, PTX can address your exact muscle imbalances and improve your spinal position.  As your body posture improves, you’ll experience reduction in pain and inflammation and healing of your joints. Routines are highly individualized to address your unique history.  The sequence of the routines systematically unravels your unique patterns of compensation and dysfunction.  Once your posture improves with PTX, you will find that your ability to practice yoga, Pilates, and perform other sports or daily activities improves too.

PTX is NextGen Physical Therapy which we hope will become the core practice of PT over the course of time as our approach gains popularity and impact. Traditional physical therapy employs the use of a generalized protocol to treat a specific injury or part of the body in pain. Although our approach can work in conjunction with physical therapy, we differ in that we focus on treating the whole-body cause, rather than the localized symptom. Also, we do not use any traditional modalities (like ice, heat, ultrasound, muscle-stim, therapeutic manipulation, massage, etc.). PTX remains focused on improving joint position and biomechanics throughout the entire body, to eliminate pain and improve function. In addition to addressing the body as a unit, we also take into account your entire list of symptoms and seek to resolve them as connected problems. In this way, you will finally be able to end the cycle of pain and the compensations that feed your pain.

Yes, your exercises are prescribed in a specific order for very specific clinical reasons. It is imperative you follow your routine as it is written. The sequence is absolutely vital! There are no magical stand-alone exercises – the sequence is the most important aspect of the PTX therapy program. (Please see our “Science is in the Sequence” video). Each exercise sets your body up for the next exercise, and no exercise will negate what a prior has accomplished. These are not merely stretches. They all have a strength component that, when done in the proper sequence, can change your body’s postural alignment, change the articulations of the joints, change the curvature of your spine, and allow for balance and proper muscular function. The result is that your pain goes away.

Since the sequence is so important (Please see our “Science is in the Sequence” video), you don’t want to pick-and-choose, skip or change the order of any exercises in your routine. If a particular exercise causes pain, give it a few repetitions or seconds and see if the pain subsides. None of the exercises should increase a symptom or pain.  Muscle fatigue, cramps and mild soreness are ok, but sharp, shooting or tingling pain is a sign that your body is not in a good enough posture yet to perform the specific exercise. If you continue to have pain beyond the first few reps or seconds, then skip the particular exercise for the day and continue with the remainder of the therapy routine. Try to perform the entire routine again the next day (including the previously skipped exercise). Keep trying to re-insert the skipped exercise until you are able to add it back in without pain.

We want you to perform your current routine once daily.  If you are in a lot of pain and can commit to doing more than one routine daily, you will benefit from repeating the routine or portions of the routine later in the day.  You will need to complete at least 7 total sessions of each routine before submitting a progress report and moving to the next routine in your program.  Being consistent in completing the routine will change the alignment of your body and cause your pain to go away. Once you’ve reached the threshold where your pain is gone, continue to complete the rest of the program sessions daily to solidify the better posture you have achieved.  Maintaining and strengthening your new posture will keep your pain away.

If you have not completed your routine for 2 or more weeks, please go back to your most recently completed routine and go through that routine for at least another 4 days before continuing on to your new routine. If you have not completed your routine for an extended period of time and your symptoms are the same or worse, you will need to begin again with the first routine in your program. If you have not completed your routine for many months and your symptoms have dramatically changed, or pain is in a different area, then you should get a new PTX Therapy program to address your current condition.

It is preferable to perform your entire routine in the morning, in order to gain the benefits of an aligned foundation for the rest of your daily activities. By aligning the body early, the movement throughout the day reinforces the new postural position. However, it is certainly acceptable to perform the exercises at other times during the day. Performing the exercises properly and on a consistent daily basis is more important than “when” they are done. It is also acceptable, if necessary, to split the full routine of exercises into morning and evening segments, and do half in the morning, and half later.   At the very least, complete the “short” routine on days in which you can’t get the “full version” done, even by splitting it up. If you are seen in-clinic, consult with your therapists about when and how to break up the routine into smaller segments if needed. If you are also performing other workout programs in conjunction with your PTX routine, we advise you to always do your PTX routine first so that you’re doing your sport or weight training on an improved structural foundation.

Doing your PTX Therapy Routine more than once a day does not necessarily mean that you will improve twice as fast. However, it can jumpstart your progress, especially early on, because you are giving your body more positive stimuli per day. The most important thing to do is be consistent in doing your routine on a daily basis. Furthermore, although it may not hurt to perform a few more sets, repetitions, or minutes, it is best to adhere to the given amount of stimulus and demand that is prescribed in each therapy session.  There is no need to go crazy with 10 sets of 20 repetitions, if the exercise just calls for 3 sets of 20 repetitions.

Upon receiving your initial routine you will have a library of instructional and educational videos in your dashboard. One such video “Why These Exercises? will explain why many exercises in your therapy routine will not be directly targeting your pain site. We must treat the body as one unit. If we work only on the painful area, we are simply addressing the symptom and not the real problem, and you won’t get the pain removal you are seeking. Remember the children’s jingle – “the ankle-bone’s-connected-to-the…shin bone; the shin-bone’s-connected-to-the…knee bone…”  We know that when any part of the posture is crooked, then your pain will never be eliminated.  For example, if you “strengthen” your back, but ignore your hunched shoulders, no amount of back-strength will take the pressure from the hunched position of the shoulders off your back and relieve your pain.  PTX Therapy always focuses on the entire body.  It’s what makes you well.  Addressing the whole-body and all of the joints together is the only way to end pain for good.

Although it is good to be aware of your posture during the day, forcing yourself to have good posture is not the answer. As you progress in your routines, you may start to feel that your body is not as comfortable slouching anymore. This is due to your therapy program reminding your muscles what their proper job is, and thus your kinesthetic sense (body awareness) will improve – so it’s ok to maintain that new position consciously. As the muscle function changes, your posture will automatically improve. Any forced attempt to simply hold good posture, will not last more than a few minutes, and will most often be using the wrong muscles anyway. Remember, we are not trying to teach you to stand up taller or sit up straighter – we are instead providing your body with a renewed structural integrity (deep postural muscle strength) needed to accomplish these things subconsciously.

The most important thing is to be aware of how you feel once you begin your postural routine. Some clients continue with a combination of therapies in order to make the most progress. However, most often people find that their need for other treatments are diminished or eliminated altogether as a result of PTX Therapy. If you continue to seek assistance from another practitioner, it’s good to communicate with him/her about what your posture routine entails. No matter what else you are doing, PTX is fundamental to your game-plan.

Sometimes the condition of the joint or spine may need surgical intervention, if the structure itself is too damaged to heal on its own. Even in this case, PTX Therapy is extremely valuable before an operation. Your PTX routine will prepare your body for surgery by creating the proper alignment for optimal healing.  If the damage is not yet extremely severe, then consider the following truths.  Most likely, the cause of the pain that has you considering surgery (outside of a traumatic event) has nothing to do with the location of the pain. (Watch the Age and Wear & Tear video.)  Therefore, the surgery for the right hip will not fix the problem if the cause of the right hip pain is weakness or instability in the left hip.  Keep in mind that surgery does not fix the true cause of muscle and joint pain.  We have proven over and over that the cause of nearly all muscle and joint pain is crooked posture, which must be addressed for complete healing and pain removal.  Imagine, if the tires on your car are unevenly worn, what will replacing them do? Well, you will have new tires for a while, but in time the new ones will wear out just like the old ones. You need proper alignment for the tires to last.  Postural alignment helps your joints to last and your pain to disappear.

If you’ve already had surgery, PTX is even more crucial, because if your posture stays out of alignment, the wear-and-tear cycle will begin again, and the “new” joint will need to be replaced again in the future.

You may receive some temporary relief from drugs, however, it doesn’t address the real cause of why you have pain or why your muscles are tense. You don’t have a body low in pain killer. Medications cannot remove pain, so they can only be temporary relief, a ‘band-aid on a broken arm’ at best. In addition, taking drugs can have side effects which weaken the immune system and damage soft tissues and organs. One of the goals at PTX Therapy is to get you to reduce those meds as soon as possible (See our Testimonials for our proven results). If you are just trying to get through the night or day, we completely understand. Keep doing your therapy routine, but move to take less medication as your pain lessens. As always, consult your doctor before changing any prescription medication protocols.  Finally, eat healthier and drink lots of water, as this can help rid your body of toxins caused by these medications. Be encouraged that you are on a path to pain-free and drugs-not-needed living.

If you experience a recurrence or new symptom, treat it with a new PTX protocol. Simply sign in and choose New Therapy under your account profile. The system will again take you through the interactive questionnaire, design your new therapy routine, and follow up with Progress Reports. Once you’ve subscribed to PTX you will have access to an unlimited number of personal programs.  However, you will be limited to no more than two active or incomplete  programs at a time. Healing takes focus.

Pausing your activities depends entirely on your condition(s), as well as your current level of activity. We recommend that you take a few weeks off from your other activities, just at first, and focus on your PTX Therapy program.  Giving yourself two focused weeks to make an initial change in your posture will jumpstart your healing and get you to pain-free faster.  We are not suggesting that you quit your activity or sport for good.  When you get your body back to a better posture with PTX, you will once again have the strength and stability to endure and excel at your favorite activities.  Our bodies are designed to move.  We view all movement as good for the body.  As the body twists out of a good posture and begins to hurt, the movement may seem like the culprit, but it is not.  We know that the activity is not to blame, the crooked posture you’ve been taking to the activity is the underlying cause of the pain.  When your posture improves and the pain lessens, we recommend that you start slowly and increase the length of your activity as you are able to.  Pain will be your guide.  If you experience pain, stop or shorten your activity.  If you experience general soreness, it’s ok to continue at a comfortable discomfort level. Listen to your body. The straighter and stronger your posture gets, the longer the activity you will be able to endure without slipping back into your old pain.

The exercises are designed to reintroduce new movement and to improve neuromuscular patterns. In order for the body NOT to fall back into old patterns of misalignment, you must continue to remind the body how it is designed to move. For most of us, there is just not enough activity in our days to keep us from falling back into the old patterns. To continue to reinforce the improved movement of the body, some sort of maintenance routine that triggers muscle memory, will be helpful for the rest of your life. PTX Therapy will recommend a maintenance schedule for you. Just like brushing your teeth every day helps keep them healthy, you can promote long-term joint and muscle health by doing a few exercises daily; ones that are specifically tailored to your needs by PTX.

If you are performing other workouts or sports programs, it is best to do your PTX routine (the short version at least) BEFORE you do anything else. Your routine sets your body up for a more efficient workout and you’ll re-enforce the improved posture with your workout.  It’s like tuning your car; do you want it well-tuned before or after a road trip?

Age, like genetics, unfairly receives too much blame for chronic pain and injury (Please see our “DeBunking Age, Wear & Tear” video). Pain, vulnerability to injury, a decrease in flexibility and athleticism, and many “diseases” are often the result of a sedentary lifestyle and the lack of proper movement; all of which results in significant postural issues. This lack of movement can eventually incapacitate all systems of the body. PTX Therapy seeks to reverse this deterioration process. Please don’t buy the fake news that makes you say, “I’m old, so that’s why things hurt” – we debunk this every day at PTX!

“It’s genetics” is often the diagnosis that is given when the cause is unknown. Since many people with such a diagnosis have improved with our therapy program, we would have to say that unless our exercises are actually changing the DNA, “genetics” can be overrated as a cause of many ailments. The genetics/environment (nature/nurture) debate can’t be solved because it’s really about a 50/50 split. Is there really a gene that causes sciatica pain down the right leg, but not the left? Is there a gene that leads to tennis elbow, a left foot that’s splayed outward, or hips that are awkwardly tilted? Nope. The fact is that many ailments from arthritis, to headaches, to lower back spasms, or even many spinal conditions are most likely musculoskeletal problems that can be corrected with a better posture. We get thrown into certain environments, and these environments tend to create similar body postures and problems. But don’t simply accept that you have your pain issues from Mom or Dad’s DNA. You can have a genetic issue, but don’t start with that assumption – we debunk it every day at PTX!

First, Orthotics can sometimes help pain temporarily, but mostly are just a Band-Aid solution and actually can delay the identification and correction of the real cause of the pain.  The same dysfunctions and imbalances causing the pain problem in the first place are still present in the body, even with the orthotics in place.  You weren’t born with orthotics on your feet, nor did you need them at age 3 or 4 (congenital abnormalities are the exception) because your body has the exact set of muscles it needs to have good foot position.  Most children have feet pointed straight ahead, with proper arches, and balanced hips and spine alignment.  Over time as we move less and less, our posture (from head to feet) can collapse, and bracing them with orthotics can limit foot, knee, and hip mobility further. This eventually causes more weakness in the foot and ankle, or more pain higher up in the knee or hip joints. Do continue to wear your orthotics as needed for your pain, but be faithful to your PTX routine to correct the underlying weaknesses and imbalances causing the poor foot position that led to the orthotics prescription.  As your muscle balance and posture improves, you will notice the orthotics no longer feel as comfortable. When your deep structural / postural muscles are doing their job again, you’ll be able to get rid of the artificial support for good.

Second, true leg-length discrepancies are rare. It’s a generic diagnosis used by many practitioners. Most of the time there is no actual bone length discrepancy, but rather it’s a muscle imbalance causing one hip to elevate and/or rotate, making it ‘appear’ that one leg is longer than the other. Even professionals can miss this, especially if they don’t know how to look at the whole body. Also, if a knee or ankle is rotated or collapsed, the leg may also seem to have a length discrepancy. The only true leg length test is an X-ray radiology measurement of the actual bones. Since true leg-length discrepancies are rare, PTX Therapy returns muscular balance and will make most “leg-length” discrepancies completely disappear.

We didn’t expect it at first, but ABSOLUTELY! We have seen PTX Therapy impact weight loss for two primary reasons:

1) PTX Therapy gets the deep postural muscles to ‘wake up’ and return to a proper size. There are hundreds of these muscles, and one efficient way to increase your metabolic rate is by increasing your muscle mass. When your posture changes through PTX Therapy, then your metabolism will increase because you simply have more muscle-work taking place all day long.

2) When pain is removed, then it isn’t such a chore to go walk around the block, to go to the gym, or to go on a run or hike. When you are pain-free you tend to be more active, which means you burn way more calories than someone sitting all day hoping to not hurt by staying still.

3) If you workout, your workouts are far more efficient with a PTX Posture because your postural muscles allow for larger muscles to work harder and longer. This is partly why you don’t see buff athletes with poor posture. Better posture, better workouts, better results — it just makes sense.

The PTX routines are designed to complement traditional fitness and training programs by eliminating muscular compensations and weaknesses that would otherwise inhibit best-level performance. Achieving and maintaining a neutral hip and spine position along with proper knee and foot position (PTX Posture) will translate into increased speed, power, and efficiency. If the right muscles are stabilizing and moving the body, then you will get the most from your body. Correcting muscular imbalances will not only keep you in the game, but it will also set you up to be at your physically strongest and most efficient.

We believe that most evidence points to the healthiest of diets is a plant-based, clean, raw fruits and vegetable type of diet. This diet maintains proper pH balance and alkaline body levels. The importance of this alkaline body pH cannot be overemphasized, so we encourage you to do your own research; seek balanced nutritious meals that produce an alkaline body.  Highly processed foods cause our body pH to become acidic, making us susceptible to disease, obesity, and all sorts of compromised body functions. From a macronutrient level (proteins, fats, carbohydrates), we believe in balance, with lean clean proteins and lots of good fats. There’s our take. Simple. Don’t buy into the fad diets or fad fitness eating plans. Also, start where you are; some is good, more is better when it comes to healthy food.

The importance of water cannot be overstated. You may think you’re hydrated because you’re not thirsty. The truth is, however, most people are somewhat dehydrated. Unless you’re drinking 10-16 8 oz. glasses of water a day, chances are you are among the drying-out people. We are talking about some people needing to drink up to a gallon a day! (Mayo Clinic: About 15.5 cups of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups of fluids a day for women.)  Remember, your muscles and your brain are over 75% water, the blood that carries your nutrients are 82% water, and the lungs that provide your oxygen are nearly 90% water. Even your bones are made up of over 25% water.  So, there’s no doubt that the most important nutrient for your body is plain ol’ water. If your body lives in a dehydrated state then you won’t be thirsty because it knows nothing else. The desert experiences flash floods when it rains because the ground is so dry it doesn’t know what to do with the water, so there’s runoff. If it rains enough, then the ground thrives and uses water. In a similar way, once your body becomes fully hydrated, its thirst sensors will once again work properly.  You’ll know when you’re closer to a fully hydrated state when you start sensing thirst again.  In the meantime, you may have to hit the restroom a bit more often during the days your body is getting rehydrated.  Muscle hydration will increase the effectiveness of your PTX program by allowing for significantly more flexibility and strength. Beef jerky is dehydrated muscle tissue (gross), and of course it isn’t very pliable. Your muscle tissue needs to stay hydrated to be supple, to stretch, and to recover. So drink up! Drink just plain clean water and lots of it.

Sleep is extremely important, not just for fitness goals, but just to maintain health and balance. Sleep debt in today’s society is now at epidemic proportions, and there is good evidence it is linked to many diseases. The general rule for rest is to get 7½ – 9½ hours of sleep each night. It’s important to understand sleep deprivation is cumulative, and by missing an hour here and there you will create a sleep deficit with negative affects on all aspects of your body. A sleep deficit can hurt everything;  starting at the subcellular level, but including mental health and athletic performance. Furthermore, without adequate rest your body will fail to adapt to the proper exercise and nutrition you are ‘feeding’ it. For example, athletes who train intensely, a 30-60 minute nap after the training session is invaluable to maximize the effects of their workout. You can pay off some of your sleep debt by putting down the remote, logging off, leaving the office, pausing the chaos, and hitting the pillow. Most researchers say that a regular get-in-bed and get-out-of-bed time daily works best. As the ad used to say, “Your dreams miss you.”
